Am I eligible to apply for applying any post of RTO if I have completed diploma in mechanical engineering? Where to get the official details on this? Can someone please give me the information soon as possible on the same?

RTO stands for Road Transport Officer.

It is mainly for the following posts:

Judicial post
Assistant engineer post
Clerk post

After completion of diploma course in Mechanical Engineering you are eligible for RTO exam in clerical post.

Eligibility for different posts are different such as:

For clerk post:

12th passed with minimum 60% marks.
Age should be in between 21 to 34 years.

The RTO Examination is mainly conducted for the following posts:-

• Judicial Service Post
• Clerkship Post
• Sub Assistant Engineer Post

Eligibility Criteria:-

Clerkship post:-

• You should have an educational qualification Secondary education or equivalent from the respective state board.
• Your should be between 18 years old and should not cross 37 year old.

Sub assistant engineer post:-

• You should have a degree in engineering like in civil, mechanical or in electrical.
• The upper age limit for this post is 32 years.

Judicial service post:-

• You should be holding a degree in law from any standard or recognized university.
• Your age should be above 23 year old and should be below 34 years.
