Am I eligible to apply for the CA Foundation program with 37% in 12th?

Respected Sir, I am a weak student and I have scored only 37% marks in my 12th standard. Can I pursue CA program? Or I am eligible for the CA Foundation program? Please tell me asap.

Normally students who have cleared 12th with minimum 50% marks are eligible for CA Foundation but it doesn't matter which stream you followed and how much marks you scored in the same, if you have qualified the examination from a recognized board, you are eligible to register for Common Proficiency Test conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

To join CA (Chartered Accountant) Foundation Program, you are required to qualify CPT (Common Proficiency Test) held by ICAI twice every year.

Also, for appearing in the CPT, you are required to have completed your Class 12th in any discipline from a recognized board of education. There is no minimum requirement of marks to be secured in Class 12th for appearing in the same examination.

So, even having completed your Class 12th with just 37% marks, you are eligible for pursuing CA Foundation Course by qualifying CPT.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
