Am I eligible to apply for UPSC-IAS recruitment if had a backlog in BTech?

Hi Sir, I had a backlog in my BTech course. Now, I am a graduate and I am planning to apply for UPSC-IAS recruitment. I just want to know that as I had a backlog then I will be eligible for applying in this recruitment?

The thing I would like to let you know is that the minimum education required to apply for the Civil Services examination often known as IAS or IPS recruitment examination is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, having completed your B.Tech degree even with backlog, you are eligible to apply for the same examination once you clear your backlog paper.

For more details regarding the eligibility for appearing in the Civil Services examination, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
