Am I eligible for biomedical engineering after passing Physics, Botany, Chemistry, Zoology?


I have did Physics, botany, chemistry,Zoology in my higher secondary Is i am eligible for miomedial engineering

In order to pursue bachelors degree program in Bio-medical Engineering, one must have studies Physics and Mathematics as major subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology in the higher secondary level.

Students who have not studied Mathematics in the higher secondary level will not be considered eligible to pursue the course from any institutes offering the course.

Some of the Institutes offering bachelors degree program in Bio-medical Engineering are as follows:

  • Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology
  • National Institute of Technology- Raipur
  • Vellore Institute of Technology

You have got the subject combination required to sit for the engineering entrance exam.
To pursue this course you have to give an entrance exam.

You should ensure minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in PCB.
