Am I eligible to do MBBS through JIPMER? I am a B.Tech student


Sir,

I am a B tech student. I am interested to study MBBS. I want to do MBBS after doing B tech . Am I eligible for doing MBBS through JIPMER or any other universities?

Yes , B-Tech degree holder candidate are eligible for JIPMER exam.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research is the all India Level entrance examination conducted for the admission into MBBS program.

Those candidate who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST) are eligible for JIPMER Exam . Those who are appearing for class 12th exams can also apply.

Your minimum age should be 17 years old.
