Am I eligible for GATE exam after scoring 54% in MSc Chemistry?
I have scored 54% in M.Sc in chemistry from Vidyasagar university in the year of 2012.Am I eligible for GATE exam. in 2013?Plz reply me.

This exam is conducted for M-Tech admission , PHD admission and some of the organization recruit the candidate through GATE score. If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then you are eligible for GATE Exam.There is no marks criteria in Graduation degree for GATE exam. Yes , You are eligible for GATE Exam .Also you are eligible for UGC NET Exam. Those candidate who have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam .For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree. For JRF ,The age should be below 28 years and for Lectureship there are no age limit. . |

Yes,you are eligible for attending the GATE exam even after scoring 54% in M.Sc chemistry.
Simple eligibility criteria for entered GATE exam is Completing Master degree in any branch of science As per my knowledge or latest news about GATE,No age limit applied. GATE score are also used for Public sector Undertake (PSU) Recruitement. |
