Am I eligible for Indian Forest Service exam if I am a bachelor of science in general stream?


I am bachelor of science in general stream(pass course) with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.Am I eligible for Indian Forest Service Exam?

IFS stands for Indian Forest Service Exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC

You can apply for IFS if you have these subject in Graduation , Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology OR Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry OR in Engineering of any of University

Paper II:- General Knowledge (300 marks)
Paper III-VI:- Any two selected optional subject (200 marks for each paper)

Indian Forest Service Exams are conducted by UPSC

You can apply if you meet the below eligibilty conditions:

Yes you are eligible to sit for the IFS Examination.

A candidate with a graduate degree in any one of the following subject can appear for the IFS Exam: mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, geology, statistics, veterinary science and animal husbandry. IFS stands for the Indian Forest Service. This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission under the Civil Service Examination every year.....

This exam is conducted in the two staged that is Written Exam and Interview. Written Exam consists Preliminary exam and Main Exam, Preliminary exam consists 200 marks of paper of each and Main Exam is consists 300 marks paper of each......

If you're talking concerning Indian Forest Services Examination that is conducted by UPSC per year then you are definitely eligible for it.

Graduation in following disciplines from a recognised university ar eligible for IFS examination:

-Agricultural Sciences

-Veterinary Sciences

-Zoology

-Botany

-Biochemistry

-Geology

-Physics

-Statistics

-Engineering

Age Limit:

General Category - 21 to 30 years

OBC Category - 21 to 33 years

Yes you are eligible for Indian Forest Service exam. UPSC conducting this exam every year once. IFS exam details given below.

Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete bachelor's graduation in any of the following mentioned subjects from a recognised university.

Animal husbandry and Veterinary science,

Botany,
