I appeared for boards in the year 2017 but failed and passed out in the year 2018 . Am I eligible for JEE advance - 2019 ? I had given JEE mains both the year 2017 and 2018 respectively but couldn't qualify.

Join entrance examination (JEE) is an engineering entrance exam for admission to various engineering colleges in India
To be eligible for this examination the criteria are :
1)You should be an Indian citizen ,even foreign citizen can also apply
2) One's who's birthday falls on or after first October 1933 ( for general and other backward caste )
4)there is a 5 year relaxation for schedule caste ,schedule tribe and physically handicap
5) You have to score more than 75% in your 12 standard
As per my knowledge you can appear for joint entrance examination if you pass in your 2018 12 exam with more than 75% and fulfill the above criteria .

JEE is conducted by CBSE every year. It has two stages. JEE Main and JEE Advanced are two stages of this exam.

There are three attempts for JEE Main. The first attempt is counted in year in which you appeared for board exam of 12th. You can apply for JEE Main in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and for JEE Advanced in 2017 and 2018. You can not apply for JEE Advanced in 2019.
