as i am studying studying b.tech(E.C.E) i would like to know weather i am eligible to jobs in bhel

BHEL after B.Tech.

Dear Friend

Definitely, you are eligible for jobs in BHEL after B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication
Engineering.
Till this year BHEL has been recruiting engineering graduates of Electrical, Electronics
and Mechanical stream by conducting its separate recruitment exam.

From 2012 onwards BHEL will be recruiting engineering graduates on the basis of GATE.

You are supposed to apply for GATE first.
Then you will be required to apply for BHEL separately but no written exam will be
conducted by BHEL. BHEL shall use GATE score to shortlist candidates for its
interview (or GD & Interview). Only those candidates will be shortlisted who
qualify a particular cutoff (as decided by BHEL) and who already had applied for BHEL.

The notification of application/registration for BHEL shall be published on its career website.

Yes you are eligible for job in BHEL but you should have good score in 10th,12th and in all your semester. And have good communication skills and technical skills.

BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited) is one of the best organization for the engineers in Govt.Sector.

Eligibility:-

1:you should have first class in Engineering Degree from AICTE approved Colleges / recognized Universities with minimum 60% marks in one of the following streams

Electronics or

Electronics & Communication or

Electronics & Telecommunication or

Mechanical or

Computer Science or

Computer Science and Engineering or

Civil Engineering or

Chemical Engineering.

2:you age should be maximum 25 years old. The age relaxation 8 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for SC/ST candidates.

3:Generally,the examination is held in the month of June.

4:Pay scale:minimum of the pay scale of Rs.16400-3%-40500/-including DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement etc.

YES you are eligible to apply for a job in bhel.For this you have to take up gate exam.
BHEL Engineer Trainee Selection process will comprise of GATE 2012 score of the candidates in the concerned disciplines & performance in BHEL Interview.

After complete your B.TECH graduation then you are eligible for give all type of government sector jobs.
In these jobs BHEL is very good sector for All branch students.
all facilities are available for those candidates.

So For this job you have minimum criteria for that:-

* Candidate pass B.TECH in ECE,Electrical,Civil,CSE,IT
*minimum 55% mark in graduation
*Age- 21 to above

then you are eligible to give the exam of BHEL.

After 2010 BHEL said they will not separate interview they acquire students in GATE exam according to their requirements.

Dear pal,
BHEL is one of the public sector unit. The academic background required for appearing in the exam is
bachelor degree in the field of mechanical, electrical, electronics and communication . You need to have secured a aggregate of 65% in your bachelor degree. Post graduates degree holders can also apply.
The maximum age limit for appearing in the exam is 27 for a bachelor degree holder and 29 for a post graduate or graduate with degree in masters in business administration. The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 for obc category and a maximum of 5 years for st and sc aspirants.
In order to limit the number of application a limiting criteria has been set by which only GATE graduates with the above degree are eligible for appearing in the exam. Or you must have registered for the upcoming GATE exam.

As you have completed the required degree you are eligible to appear provided you have appeared in gate . All the best

Am i eligible for jobs in BHEL after studying B.Tech ECE?

Yes definitely, you are eligible for job in BHEL. It conducts its own exam for the students of following branches :

• EEE
• ECE
• MECHANICAL

At present ,you need to appear in exam conducted by bhel and perform better to get a job .

But from the year 2012, it will recruit candidate through GATE exam. So if you are going to get your degree in the year 2012, then you should apply for GATE-2012.


Note- Pre-final year students are not eligible for GATE-2012

Yes, you can apply for BHEL... As you have completed your B.tech course in ECE branch..

Eligibility for BHEL:-

1.One must have complete the B.tech/BE course in the streams like- Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical...

2.One must not have any pending backlogs during graduation..

3.One must have 60% aggregate through out the career..For SC/ST the candidates must have 55% aggregate through out the career...

4.The age should be in between 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years..
If you fulfill all these criteria then you are eligible to apply for BHEL.
After fulfilling the eligibility criteria you have to appear in a written test exam, after getting qualified in the written test you have to go through the interview...

Yes you are eligible for BHEL exam.BHEL conducted written examination on the basis of Reasoning type questions and related to communication skills.

The paper pattern for BHEL entrance exams are -
Engineer Trainee (ET)
Supervisor trainee (ST) (Finance)
BHEL Diploma Holder Trainee in Electrical (EEE) / Electronics (ECE) / Mechanical / Civil Branch.
Important / Helpful / Useful Books for BHEL ET / ST.
There are 240 questions in the paper and out of 240 120 are Technical and other 120 are Aptitude & General English questions.

There is a negative marking of 1/5th mark for each wrong answer. Five options are given for each question of which only one is correct and you should complete the paper within 150 minutes.

Selection procedure on the basis of following categories :-

i) Written examination
ii) Interview

Age limit criteria for the post of Engineer trainee and supervisor trainee is 27 years for graduates .
