My date of birth is 13/02/1994. Am i eligible for NDA examination ?

dear frd, A candidate must either be : i) a citizen of India, or ii) a subject of Bhutan, or iii) a subject of Nepal, or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settling in India, or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal. (b) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination. Candidates must not marry until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training. A candidate who marries during training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government. (c) Educational Qualifications : For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply. (d) Physical Standards : Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination as per guidelines given : Candidates are advised to rectify minor defects/ailments in order to speed up finalisation of medical examination conducted at the Military Hospital after being recommended at the SSB. The undermentioned ailments are considered, common minor ailments : Wax (Ears), Deviated Nasal Septum, Hydrocele/Phimosis, Overweight/Underweight, Under sized Chest, Piles, Gynaecomastia, Tonsillitis, Varicocele A candidate recommended by the Services Selection Board will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers. Only those candidates will be admitted to the academy who are declared fit by the Medical Board. The proceedings of the Medical Board are confidential and will not be divulged to anyone. However the candidates declared unfit will be intimated by the President of the Medical Board and the procedure for request for an Appeal Medical Board will also be intimated to the candidate. Candidates declared unfit during Appeal Medical Board will be intimated about the provision of Review Medical Board. (a) The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties. (b) There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight. The candidate should not be overweight or obese. (c) The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. THere are certain physical standards of weight also as per your height that you should check For Naval candidates the limit of Myopia is -0.75 and for hypermetropia is +1.5 They must have a vision of at least 6/9 without glasses and 6/6 corrected with classes. Candidates who wear glasses on regular basis are not eligible for Air Force. There are also some standards specified for leg length,thigh length , sitting height etc. that you must check also. |

if you have completed your 12th with physics chemistry maths and english then at the age of 18 years you are eligible for nda. you must have: 1. 50% in pcm in 12th. 2. citizen of india. 3. physically fit. 4. age under 16.5 to 19 years. all the best. |

Yes you are eligible for the NDA exam with the age of 18 years. NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conducted by the union public service commission(UPSC) twice in a year. That means NDA-I and NDA-II NDA has three wings Indian Army Indian Air force Navy ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualification: The candidate must completed the 12th standard from a recognized state board of india. The final year candidates are also eligible for the NDA exam. There is no minimum percentage required to eligible this exam. The candidate need the compulsory subjects are mathematics physics and chemistry of indian air force and navy exams. Age limit: the candidate minimum age is 16.5 years and maximum age is 19 years. There is no age relaxation for this exam. Nationality: the candidate should be citizen of india. Gender: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Girls are not eligible. Physical standard: The candidate should be physically fit for this exam. Yes , You are applicable for NDA exam because your age now 18 years old.

Yes, you can apply. The criteria for NDA is 12th appeared or 12th pass. Between the age group 16 and 19 1/2 years. Science students can apply for all the three streams i.e. army, navy , airforce. Commerce and Arts students are eligible only for army. The notification of NDA exam is given twice a year by u.p.s.c. in major daily newspapers including employment news.

Yes you are eligible for NDA Exam.
NDA exam counduct by UPSC twice in year. This exam held for three wings of nda- Airforce,Army,Navy & Navel Academy. Only those Aspirant can apply who Pass out 12th class with around 55% marks from a recognized college with following subject Physics, mathematics, and Chemistry. If you are final year students of 12th class are also eligible for nda. Only unmarried male candidate who should not born earlier than 2nd january,1994 and not later than 1st july 1996, can apply. |

Yes you are eligibile to give the NDA entrance exam.
The minimum eligibility criteria is:- the candidate should be a 12 pass out. age:- 16.5-19 yrs he should be an unmarried citizen of india. Written exam pattern:- paper i is mathematics(total marks 300) paper ii is general knowledge(400 marks) and english of 200 marks. then there is the personal interview. Hai,
Yes you are eligible for NDA(National Defence Academy) at an age of 18 years. But you are fulfill one more qualification that is educational qualification you must have complete 12th standard. If you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligibe, and also here are some of the other qualifications required. There are three types of wings: Indian airforce, Indian army, Indian navy. Educational qualification: 12th standard from a recognised state or central board. Percentage is not required for this exam, but for indian navy and airforce PCM subjects are must in your 12th standard. Nationality; A citizen of india, Or A subject of bhutan,. Or A subject of nepal, Or A tibetian refugee who came over indian permanently. Age criteria: 16.5 years to 19 years, There is no relaxation for any reservation candidates. Gender:- It's compulsory needed only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA. Girls are permanently not eligible for NDA. Selection process:- Written test, SSB interview, Medical test. Important dates for NDA-II; Date of notification: 05-may-05-2012, Last date for application forms:-04-june-2012, Date of exam:-19-aug-2012, NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. yes, definately you can apply for NDA, NDA (National defence acadamy) conducted by upce twice in year in month june and december. Here is eligibility: A candidate should have complete 12th from recognise board.
