I have done graduation in home science and a 3yr. Diploma in interior designing. Am i eligible for the net exam? What field can i give the exam in?
Please give details as to how to go about the procedure as Im completely unaware.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by the University Grants Commission,

The Educational Qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from recognized university.Your masters degree marks must be above 55% . 5% marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST category.

There is a age criteria for Junior Research Fellowship .Your age should be below 28 years . Age relaxation unto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC .For the post of Lectureship , There is no upper age limit .

For General candidates, the examination fee is Rs. 450/-; for Other Backward Classes fee is Rs. 225/- and for SC/ST/PWD candidates, it is Rs. 110/-. .

The New Information of NET Exam:-

1) All papers contain MCQ question .
2)There is no negative marking
3)There is no fixed marks criteria
4)Top 15% candidate got NET score Card.

You have not masters degree so you are not eligible for UGC NET Exam.
