sir, i am B.E final year student in electrical .My aggregate %age upto 6th sem is 63.60% ,please tell me is i am eligible for ntpc & powergrid entrance

for eligibility in ntpc u need 2 secure 65% marks at ur b.tech degree if u secure 65% after completion of ur degree then ur eligible for this.

for qualify in ntpc u need 2 secure 65% marks in ur b.tech ,10th as well as +2 .IF UR ABLE 2 MANAGE UR SCORE TO 65% at the end of degree exam then ur selected for the exam

Yes u are eligible for off campus test.

NTPC Exam Eligibility:

Educational Eligibility: Min. 55% marks for SC, ST and Physically Challenged & 65% marks for others.
Age Eligibility:
For EET: Max. 27 years as on 01/01/2010 i.e. examinees born before 01/01/82 is not qualified. This age limit is relaxed by 2 years for the examinees with Post graduation degree.

For ET-HR & ET-Fin: Max. 29 years as on 01/01/2010 i.e. examinees born before 01/01/80 is not qualified.
Max. age limit is relaxed through 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC.

no you are not eligible. you are eligible only after securing 65% in your complete gradution degree(agreegate).
for freshers (without any work experience) they ask for 65% in Degree followed by a competitive test and interview.

Well, eligibility for power grid and ntpc are same. They ask for streams like Inst., Mech., Elec. etc .
