• National Agricultural Innovation Project of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (NAIP-ICAR) is conducted in Annamalai University.
• ICAR provides 1.31Cr. grant to Annamalai University for this course.
• Apart from this, ICAR has sanctioned a prestigious and Mega project on “Farming Systems for livelihood security of farmers in disadvantaged districts of Tamil Nadu” with an outlay of Rs. 7.33 crores.

NO.. it is a self financed university run by Rosaiah,the former chief minister of Andhra pradesh as the chancellor.
