Yes, you are certainly eligible and stand a chance of getting admission in Private colleges for MBBS after getting 1729 rank in WBJEE.
Once you clear the entrance examination you become eligible to apply in MBBS colleges.
I would advice you apply in atleast 2-3 colleges, so you have option to choose from.
However, in West Bengal you would get first preference and in other State you would get 2nd preference.
