Appearing for B.ed with less than 50% in graduation
I am an A.T in west bengal,recruited by cssc in 2014,without b.ed& having 42% marks in graduation. I am also a special educator having a diploma in dse(mr)&having a registrstion from rehabcouncil of india.can l get a chance in b.ed,,?

Eligibility criteria to pursue B.Ed are mentioned below:-
Candidate must be a holder of graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. Candidate must have scored at least 50 percent in graduation. There is no upper age limit required. Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Some of the regular colleges to pursue B.Ed are as follows:- Delhi University Anna University Rajasthan University Andhra University |

I am sorry to say but you can't pursue B.Ed having 42% marks in your graduation. Candidates who have completed their graduation with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for this course. There is 3 to 5% relaxation of marks for reserved category as per government rules. Thanks

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two year duration undergraduate academic degree which qualifies the graduate as a teacher in schools. Admission to B.Ed. course is based on the entrance exam conducted by various States or concerned Colleges or universities.
Academic qualification required for admission in B.Ed. course is Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized University. There is no restriction on upper age limit and time of attempts for getting admission in this degree . It will be difficult for you to get admission to B.Ed. course with less than 50% marks in Graduation. |

The candidate must be a graduate or postgraduate with at least 55% marks aggregate and holding E3 diploma degree in education or teaching. Relaxation of 5% is given to reserved category students come.

No, you are not eligible to get admission in Bachelor in education degree which is two years course from a recognised University.
The required minimum eligibility to appear for examination is bachelor degree with minimum 50% and 5% relaxation for reserved category. So, if you do not belong to reserved category you will not eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission. |

A candidate who has a graduate degree with any discipline like BA, b.sci or b.com with minimum 50% of marks is eligible for b.ed.
To get admission in b.ed a candidate needs to qualify an entrance exam consists of- Aptitude. General awareness. Reasoning. General English. A candidate can get admission according to their performance in the entrance exam. |

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education. This is a teacher training course which has become compulsory for candidates who want to become teacher in government schools. Bachelor of education qualification is also mandatory to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test.
The academic qualification required to apply for B.Ed course is that candidate must have done bachelor's degree with minimum of 50% marks in bachelor's degree. There is 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. You are not eligible for B.Ed course with 50% marks in graduation. |

B.Ed refers to Bachelor of Education and it is a profession degree course required by those who are looking to make their career as a teacher of Classes above 5.
The minimum educational required for pursuing the same degree course is a graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. Some university offers marks relaxation upto 5% for admission in their institutes. So having completed your graduation with just 42% marks you cannot pursue B.Ed as per the above mentioned criteria. |

The full form of B.Ed is Bachelor of Education.
Eligibility criteria for B.Ed course: 1. You must be bachelor's degree passed or in final year of bachelor's degree from a recognized university. 2. Your percentage of marks in bachelor's degree should not be less than 50%. You can not apply for B.Ed entrance exam with 42% marks in bachelor's degree. |
