I am doing automobile engineering in b.e so I like to write tneb Ae exam Automobile engineering is eligible or not for tneb exam

Eligibility criteria required to apply for TNEB AE Examination:

The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for TNEB AE Examination is given below,

Name of the Organization- Tamilnadu Electricity Board

Name of the Job Position- Assistant Engineer

>> There are various disciplines in which candidiates are recruited in. They are,
@ Electrical
@ Civil and
@ Mechanical

>> For AE(Mechanical):
@ Candidates who have completed their B.E or B.Tech in any of the below streams are eligible.
* Mechanical
* Production
* Manufacturing
* Industrial..etc.,

>> Hence, as far as my best knowledge is concerned you are not eligible with the Automobile Engineering background.
