Which subject of Agriculture will be better in pursuing M.Sc for preparing for Indian Forestry Service (IFS) examination? And, what is the syllabus of IFS examination? When would be the next IFS examination is going to be conducted?

Eligibility for IFS exam :-
Bachelor's degree with atleast one of the subjects as Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
Bachelor's degree with atleast one of the subject as Botany or Agriculture or Engineering or Zoology or physics etc
Graduation should be from any of the Universities Incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature.
The application for main exam will be called sometime in the month of July/August through online mode.
The syllabus consists of topics like
*History of India and National Movement
*Indian Polity and Governance
*History and Geography of the world
*International Relations
* Social Justice
* Indian Heritage and Culture etc
Thus you don't need masters degree to appear for the exam, bachelor's degree is sufficient.
