UPSC has announced the schedule for Civil Services preliminary examination 2017, which is going to held in the month of June 2017. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the examination after the release of official notice in the website and also in the newspaper.

Eligibility for appearing in UPSC examination 2017:

Educational qualification: The appearing candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from recognized university.

Age Limit : For General candidates : Minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age 32 years.

For OBC candidates: Minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age 35 years.

For SC/ST candidates: Minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age 27 years.

IMPORTANT DATES (TENTATIVE) 2017

> > Official notification about the examination will be out on : 22nd February, 2017.

> > Final date for submitting the application form : 17th March, 2017.

> > The Civil Service examination (Pre) : 18th June, 2017.

> > Date of Main examination : 28th October, 2017.

The following are the important tentative dates of Union Public Service Commission 2017:-

->>Opening Date for Registration:-March 2017

->>Closing Date for Registration:-april 2017

->>Civil Services Preliminary Exam Date:-May 2017.

For the year 2017 the date of notification for filling up of the exam forms for the UPSC civil services exam (Prelims) is 22.02.2017.

And last date for the receipt of the Application is - 17.03.2017

The date of the UPSC civil services exam (Prelims) is - 18.06.2017

If you want to appear for Civil Services examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission then you must be aware that from next year the examination will be conducted in month of June only earlier it was August.

The application form for examination will be available from February 22 and last date of application will be March 17.
