Re: Is B.Ed from distance accepted for government teacher jobs?
If your university is recognized by University Grants Commission and Distance Education council for graduate courses then your degree will be valid for government teaching jobs.
B.Ed candidates need to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test and clear it to get job in government schools. For TET, bachelor's degree and B.Ed course is mandatory. You ca apply for your state level TET exam. |

Re: Is B.Ed from distance accepted for government teacher jobs?
Yes, B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) degree in distance mode is certainly valid for becoming government school teacher providing your degree is from a recognised university approved by UGC and DEC for distance education programme.
Further, for becoming a government school teacher, you need to qualify CTET or State TETs. Also, I would like to let you know is that for teaching in government colleges, there is no requirement of B.Ed degree course and qualifing TETs instead you are required to qualify NET/SET examinations after completion your Master's degree from a recognised university. |

The validity of any degree from a distance university is recognized on following basis:
>>Whether the university was approved by University Grants Commission and Distance Education council for desired course or not. If any university of India is recognized by UGC and DEC then its degree is valid for government jobs in different sectors. |
