B.Sc Chemistry honours graduate can apply for JELET or not?


Well actually sir, i am B.Sc final year student with Chemistry Honours. I want to know that, can i be eligible for JELET exam or not?

B.Sc in Chemistry candidates can't apply for JELET exam.

Eligibility criteria for lateral entry exam:-

(i)Candidate should have passed diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy with above 50% marks.

(ii)Candidate should have passed Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Mathematics as a subject with above 50% marks.

(iii)Candidate's age should be above 18 years.

Yes, You are eligible for JELET exam which is also called
West Bengal Joint Entrance Written Exam.
Eligibility for this exam is:
*You should have Degree in Science (B.Sc.) from U.G.C. approved Universities with minimum 50% marks and 45% for reserved category.
*There is no age restriction for diploma holders of Engineering,Technology and Pharmacy.
*For B.Sc. candidates upper age limit is 27 years.
