Dear Sir/Madam
I am Soumyashree.D.K. I failed in B.sc final year 5th semester.. this year is wasted and i don't want to waste this year by sitting in the home hence i want to join NET COACHING center and get coaching.... I want to do M.sc in Chemistry next year and after finishing M.sc i want to appear for NET EXAM in Chemistry.... Please help am i eligible to get NET COACHING.......

Does final semester bsc student can apply for net exam?

Dear Soumyashree,

Yes offcourse you can go for NET coaching as there are no eligibility criteria that you have to fulfill for NET Coaching.

Even if you have failed in B.Sc and planning to give the B.SC examination next year , you can start the preparation for NET Exam.

But currently you are ineligible to appear in the NET Exam.

The Minimum educational qualification required for NET Exam is post graduation , so you have to complete M.Sc after passing the B.Sc to become eligible.

Also , you need a minimum of 55% marks in post graduation to be eligible for the NET Exam.

The Other Required Qualifications For NET Examination are :

a) For Candidates belonging to Reserved Categories , there is a relaxation of 5% marks , i.e., if they have 50% marks in post graduation then also they can apply.

b) Age Limit : 21-28 years [For JRF Post Only]

c) There is no age limit for the post of Lecture ship.

d) Nationality : Indian.

So , if you want to start preparation for the NET exam from now , you can do this and can join the NET coaching centers without any worry.
