B.Tech in Food Technology is qualified for Food Inspector in Maharashtra or not?

I have completed my B.Tech in Food Technology degree from a UGC approved college. Now, am I eligible for the for the post of Food Inspector in Maharashtra State? If yes, then how can I apply for it? Do I need to write any entrance?
