Re: Which is the best course after doing BCA?
MCA is one of the best courses. You can try for M.Sc in IT or CSE. B.Tech degree in related subjects is another good option. Admission to B.Tech/MCA course can be obtained through lateral entry. Universities like SASTRA offers admission to MCA through lateral entry where as Thapar University, LPU, etc offers admission to B.Tech via lateral entry.

Re: Which is the best course after doing BCA?
Definitely MCA is a good choice. I will say perhaps the best choice after completing BCA. There is huge demand of MCA graduates in the IT industry. Top IT companies like Wipro, Infosys, Satyam are keen on hiring MCA graduates.
However saying that, you should only apply for the MCA if you haveinterest in computer programming and applications. Ifyou only want a job in IT company but don't particularly have interest in programming languages then MBA in IT would be a better choice. Master of Computer Applications is a two year long post graduation course. In this courseyou are going to learn about : Programming Languages Application Software Networking System Management Hardware Technology Eligibility 1. A graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. 2. Minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. Maths should be one of the subjects in Class 12th or graduation. You will have to appear for entrance exam for admission in MCA. Below are some entrance exams. AIMCET TANCET MCA MAH MCA CET BIT OJEE ICET VIT JECA Other option as I mentioned earlier would be Master of Business Administration. It is also2 years long post graduation degree course. If you have interest in IT industry then MBA in IT would be the most obvious choice. Alternatively you are free to select the course. Entrance Exams CAT GMAT MAT XAT Mentioned above are some popular entrance exams for MBA admission. The most popular is Common Admission Test. To appear for CAT entrance exam you must have completed graduation with minimum of 50 percent marks. SC/ST candidates will require 45 percent marks. Those who have scored low marks in graduation need not to worry, because Management Aptitude Test is made for such candidates. There is no minimumpercentage criteria for MAT entrance exam. All you need is graduation degree. GOOD LUCK |
