Iam pursing my final year B.Sc Maths in Stella Maris college. Which is the best course for a better career to do after completing my B.Sc Maths? What are the jobs scopes in Mathematics in India?

Lot of career options is open for you. But you should carefully select as per your interest & passion. Please do not give priority to any other factor than your own interest. Here are few options for you:

1. MSc if you are interested in teaching

2. MCA –from a good institution

3. MBA – again for top 16 institutions

4. Any other competitive exams for jobs like – Admin, services, Banks, etc.

There are may such options.

The other thing I would like to suggest you is to meet a good career counselor for a personality & interest psychometric test. This will be a good guide for you. Apart from your personality test, this will also give you some personality traits, which you should try to improve upon for your better career & life.

I would also like to advice all students that you should always select a career path and accordingly select a course or subject. Selecting just a subject is not good for your career path in long-term. Hence be careful on you selection of course or subject.

Go for one of the well known entrance examination that is joint admission test for MSc that is IIT JAM.
And if you qualify this examination then definitely you can go with these fields:

Research and development, manufacturing firms, market research, space research organisation, development organisations.

B.Sc Mathematics have good career scope in the market. There are many courses available in the market that you can pursue after completion of bachelor's of science with Mathematics. You can apply for master's of science with mathematics, M.Sc (hon) Mathematics, M.Phill with Mathematics or doctorate in mathematics etc.
