Which of the engineering courses is the best....please tell me the details for the same

All streams in engineering are good in own perspectives. CSE stream deals with computer software and hardware. ECE is mush related to the design of electronic equipments and associated structures. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, etc are some other emerging areas. Civil engineering is related to the design and manufacture of buildings or related structures. You can select a stream according to your interest.

In India there are so many streams are available for Engineering course .After 12th standard from PCM subject candidate are applicable for Engineering courses.

List of engineering entrance exam after 12th standard are given below-

• AIEEE(All india engineering entrane examination)
• NERIST Entrance examination(NEE)
• SRM engineering entrance exam
• All India Comon Entrance Exam(AICET)
• Birla Institute Of Technology And Science Examination(BITSAT)

• National Aptitude Test In Architechture(NATA)

I think, the core courses such as ECE,MECHANICAL,CIVIL,EEE,EIE are the best to choose because they are all having a very good scope in the future. Don't decide a course by its value. But decide a course through your interest. All the best.


I prefer CSE ( computer science and engineering over others because of job market and salaries. I see most of the engineers for other streams like ECE, EEE, Mech and Civil join software industry. If I need to do a software job after doing Mech or civil, why not join computer engineering.

It depends upon you which field you have interest. The engineering courses have varied degree of scope and selecting a particular field will depend on you interest .

To get you choice of course you must have good rank in the entrance exam .

You can select the following order of preference if you are willing to do engineering . Now a days salary in Computer engineering is very good hence most of the people opt for this field.

These are,

3.EC
4.Chemical
5.ECE
6.Civil
7.Mechanical
8.Aeronautica
9.Agriculture

-These courses are good for the job.

-If you do any course in these you can get god job.

-Presently cs has many compitation but salaries is high inthis.

-Agriculture has less compitation rest of others and if done this we have a govt jobs also.

--My suggest you to join the Engineering course which you are interested and where your strengths are being fully utilized.
