No, it is not mandatory to pursue Biology in higher secondary school degree course for pursuing degree course in Agriculture engineering as the minimum education required to pursue B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised board of education.

The eligibility to get admission in B.Tech in Agricultural engineering is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board in PCM as main paper.

Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course.

So, Biology is not a compulsory subject in std 12th to become eligible to get admission in the B.Tech Agricultural engineering course.
