Is Biology necessary for Agricultural Engineering degree courses?
Are BiPC stream students only allowed and eligible to pursue a degree course in Agricultural Engineering? Which all subjects are required in 11th and 12th to be eligible to do a degree course in Agricultural Engineering?

You need to have compulsory subjects like physics ,biology and chemistry in your 11th and 12th ,then only you will be able to pursue in agricultural engineering field.

No. Candidates who have PCM subject group at (10+2) are also eligible for B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering).

No, it is not mandatory to pursue Biology in higher secondary school degree course for pursuing degree course in Agriculture engineering as the minimum education required to pursue B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised board of education.

The eligibility to get admission in B.Tech in Agricultural engineering is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board in PCM as main paper.
Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course. So, Biology is not a compulsory subject in std 12th to become eligible to get admission in the B.Tech Agricultural engineering course. |
