Hi friend..
For the TCS placement test you can checkout the RS Aggarwal book...
and you can also checkout the Barons GRE book sample questions which will help you in the test...In the test you will find mathematics,reasoning,aptitude,
english objective type questions...Prepare well for the test..

The syllabus is as according to the normal aptitude exam.
try to solve questions.from r.s.agarwal,gre baron
made easy publications solves books of your aforesaid.

most of the questions asked in tcs are from barrons gre,
they usually copy the questions directly and word to word,
so follow it and you will surely get through
all the best

There is no such Book for that purpose.

However, there is sample papers available for that which will privide you the syllabus, Pattern, types of Questions asked and all.

There is no such Book for that purpose.
because any placement paper is based on your mentality.

TCS usually conducts tests to test your analytical and logical reasoning like puzzles. You can find lot of references in sites like way2freshers, placementpapers.net etc. Please do refer reasoning questions of different entrance exams like GMAT, CAT and so on.

For Quantitative : RS Aggarwal, Arihant Pub's Sijwali
For Verbal and Non Verbal: RS Aggrawl
For Technical Qs.: refer old year question papers.

2.data structure by lipschose.
and for non departmental subject like for apptitude test u must buy agarwal series.means
1.quantetive apptitude by r.s agarwal.

3.for english gre barrons guide.

gre is the most preferable book and you practice well previous years question papers and go to the placementpapers.com and get previous years question papers

Basically you have 2 ways.

1) Entry Level(Direct Rcruitment): This entry is meant for candidates doesn't have TCS campusing in there respective colleges. One can enter in this scheme from all qualification ranging from Diploma - P.hd.

TCS is the top most IT industry in India and recruits huge no. of freshers every year. For the current year their estimate is around 50000 freshers.

TCS placement test includes :-
1) Aptitude Test.
2) If you clear the aptitude test then you will be called for Interview.
And if you also do well in Interview then you will be selected.

Books for Preparation :-
1) For aptitude test :
For quantitative aptitude solve the book of R.S.Agarwal.
For Verbal and Non-verbal solve Barron's 12 edition.
Also solve the previous year aptitude question paper of TCS.
2) For interview there is no such prescribed books but just keep all the updated information about TCS,keep a clear concept on technical papers,try to improve communication skill etc.
