friends.. i think if you don't have ncert books.. and other books.. go for the only book that make to score more and crack exam is *Kaplan Civil Service Exams By Kaplan* it is having strategies..how to score one more book you can refer *Master the Civil Service Exams* Presents a study guide for preparing for entry-level civil service job tests along with four practice exams and answers. if you prefer both of them i think..you don need any preferences.. with regards ~~ |

I am taking English literature as an optional too. It should be a sensible choice, if you've done your Masters in English and not just graduated with an honours in it. The syllabus, though not titanic, is capable of sinking your score - it takes more than just literary knowledge to score good in this, one requires decent writing skills and enough essay writing practice.
