Which branch of engineering to choose after B.Sc? Which branch has better scope?

Can I get admission in any engineering course after completing B.Sc graduation course? If yes, than which engineering branch should I opt for? Which has a better scope in India in terms of getting good and reputed jobs?

The basic criteria required for Bachelor's degree in Engineering:

1. You must have done 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subject or diploma in engineering etc.

Bachelor of Science candidates can directly apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test to get admission in second year of engineering. LEET is conducted by State Technical University for diploma and B.Sc candidates.

You can choose any stream from given below choices:

Mechanical Engineering.

Electrical Engineering.

Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Civil Engineering.

Computer Science Engineering.

All these streams have good career opportunities in future.

Candidates are not eligible to get admission in B.Tech or B.E course through Lateral entry after completion of B.Sc course.

So, if you are interested in an engineering course, you can take admission after completion of M.Sc course.

Candidates after completion of the master degree will become eligible for admission in the M.Tech course.

If you want to take admission in B.Tech, you have to start from the beginning ( 1st year ).

The first thing which I would like to suggest you to choose engineering stream depending upon your own interest in that stream rather than market trend and advice of others. If you have interest in any stream then you will surely do well in that stream. You can choose any stream and if you like it, you will excel and secure good job and career opportunities in it.

Bachelor of Science candidate can apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test if they have 60% marks in graduation. LEET exam gives you opportunity to directly get admission in second year of engineering. There are many top streams like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics etc.
