Re: Which Branch of Engineering will be in more demand after 4 years?
Its not that one branch of Engineering will be having more demand and the other will not be having good demand.
It depends upon the candidate. If the candidate make most out of the course, obviously he can get job and can be having good career scope. Here are some of the popular branches in Engineering course -Civil Engineering -Mechanical Engineering -Electrical and Electronics Engineering -Electronics and Communication Engineering -Aeronautical Engineering -Information Technology -Computer Science Engineering -Mechatronics etc. Out of the above mentioned specializations, other than IT and CSE, remaining all the branches can provide good jobs to the candidates irrespective of market conditions. The career scope for IT and CSE streams is always fluctuation. Recently, when the recession occured, many of the IT Employees were eliminated from their jobs. However, as of now IT is in good boom in India. The candidates are having good number of job opportunities in various IT Companies after completion of their B.Tech in IT or CSE. The career scope for Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering is ever green. Candidates will have jobs definitely after completion of these streams in the respective core companies. Choose the stream which you are interested and join that course in a top college. Wish you all the best. |

Re: Which Branch of Engineering will be in more demand after 4 years?
Mechanical engineering and electrical engineering is known as the father and mother of all engineering subjects. They are the main core subjects and with each passing day there demand will only increase. Moreover the way their syllabus have been designed you will get jobs in lots of sectors.
But the IT sector always faces some difficulties. No one can say what will happen to their market demand even after a few months. As you must be knowing that the IT sector received a set back during the recession time. So to gain more experience its always advised to look for jobs in the core subjects as that will give you experience and an edge over others. But lastly its not about the subjects in demand but also about where your interest lies. If both things goes hand in hand then you can excel in any field. So choose your subjects properly and work hard. All the best |

Re: Which Branch of Engineering will be in more demand after 4 years?
hi friend,
The scope for engineering is totally depend on the development of technology, If the development in particular field occur then the demand of engineers in that branch increase so, better scop for good job. As like that today that development is occuring in Mechanical engineering, Computer engineering and Information technology engineering. So, there is better scop foq good job in that field even after 4 years. And many other branches of engineering are: -Civil Engineering -Mechanical Engineering -Electrical and Electronics Engineering -Electronics and Communication Engineering -Aeronautical Engineering -Information Technology -Computer Science Engineering -Mechatronics etc. so, according to today's point of view mechanical, computer and IT is better option in engineering. all the best |

Re: Which Branch of Engineering will be in more demand after 4 years?
I think Mechanical,Civil branches are always ever green branches from last century on wards many emerging technologies are come out of this two branches. If you take these branches no need worry about jobs. You have lot of jobs in private & govt. sectors.
Now days electronics field also very good. These branch also very good future.Along with electronics communication also plays important role in every field. So you are well at electronics then go for EEE/ECE. CS/IT also very good fields. There are many unknown technologies are still in process. If you want go for further studies then just take CS.If you are interested in Logical reasoning then go for CS. ALL THE BEST |
