HELLO....
You are doing B.Tech as you graduation course and you want to do MBA as your post graduation course which is good for your future career and your problem is that in MBA which stream you select.

MBA is a master degree in which all stream have their own importance but the main importance is that you have good command over that stream are which you do. You are doing B.Tech with ETNT. So my suggestion to you that you may have go with MBA in HR department or MBA in Marketing department which is good and best sign for your future.

After BE you have to qualify CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT examination which are held by Indian Management and after qualifying any one of them exam you will take admission in any recognized institute where MBA degree is study.

SO BEST OF LUCK WITH LOTS OF GOOD WISHES FOR YOUR FUTURE....

The MBA has more reputation in market.I thing you going to finish B.TECH then apply for MBA entrance exams for getting seat in good business schools.

M.B.A means Master of Business Application.

Duration :- Two years.

Semester :- 4 semester.

Eligibility :- The applicant's should be completed graduation from a recognized university.

The candidate need to secure at least 60% marks from a recognized university.

Even final year candidates can also apply for the examination for Management of Aptitude Test.

Basically, I would suggest to you to get employed in a good private/government concern for at least two years and gather valuable experience. Management techniques can better be grasped after you have had a field stint to understand the issues. Mere book knowledge will not help.

However, if you are very keen on taking up MBA immediately, you may take some branch of management which will have an engg orientation.

Such examples are:

Production Management
Industrial Management
Project Management
Power Management
Energy Management

Ultimately, it is your taste and attitude which will decide the branch.
