Sir, I am a Biology student and pursuing B.S Biology and I want to go in medical line through NDA. Can I apply for NDA? In which field can I join in NDA? And, what are the opportunities for me as I want to appear in exam of NDA 2020 session?

Minimum educational qualification required for applying NDA exam is 10+2 passed/appearing from a recognized Board.

In addition, you should be unmarried male candidate and age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years.

So, if you meet above requirements then you can apply for NDA exam.

As mentioned, you are pursuing B.Sc. in Biology, so your age might have crossed 19.5 years. Hence, if your age is below 19.5 years, then you can apply for NDA exam.

Regarding opportunities after qualifying NDA exam, you will have following salary increments at respective posts.

• Stipend during the training of the candidates in IMA - INR 56,100/- Per Month
• Lieutenant - INR 56,100/- to INR 1,77, 500/- Per Month
• Captain - INR 61,300/- to 01,93,900/- Per Month
• Major - INR 69,400/- to 02,07,200/- Per Month
• Lieutenant Colonel - INR 01,21,200/- to 02,12,400/- Per Month
• Colonel - INR 01,30,600/- to 02,15,900/- Per Month
• Brigadier - INR 01,39,600/- to 02,17,600/- Per Month
• Major General - INR 01,44,200/- to 02,18,200/- Per Month
• Lt. General HAG Scale - INR 01,82,200/- to 02,24,100/- Per Month
• HAG+ Scale - INR 02,05,400/- To 02,24,400/- Per Month
• VCOAS/ Army Cdr/ Lt Gen (NFSG) - INR 02,25,000/- Per Month Fixed
• COAS - INR 02,50,000/- Per Month Fixed

-> Having completed your Class 12th in Science stream even with PCB combination, you are eligible to apply for NDA (National Defence Academy) examination and join Indian Army wing of NDA, as far as the educational requirement for the same examination is concerned.

But, apart from the educational qualification to be eligible to appear in NDA examination, you need to be an Indian unmarried male candidate with your age lying within 16.5 years to 19.5 years. Also, you must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.

But, now as far as you are concerned about getting into Medical line through NDA then it is not possible as NDA trains candidates for being a defense officer not a doctor.
