Can BSc mathematics graduates apply for bank exam?
I am doing bsc mathematics. After that can I apply for bank exam? If it is possible what percentage in degree is required for writing bank exam?

Why not as you are a graduate from bsc mathematics you have a very good scope in banking as per my knowledge of banking criteria any person graduate in any discipline can apply for any banking examination.

Yes, you can definitely apply for bank exams since you have completed your B.Sc degree and hence you are graduate.
You can apply for various posts like:- Clerk, Probationary Offices and Specialist Officer. Eligibility Criteria:- Education Qualification:- The candidate should have passed graduation from a recognised University. Age limit :- Age limit for Clerk is 20 to 28 years and for P.O. it is 21 to 30 years. There is relaxation in age for OBC and SC / ST candidates of 3 and 5 years respectively. Selection Procedure:- Written Test Interview. |

To join in a bank, a candidate must have minimum qualification of graduation in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks. As you have completed your DSC hence you are eligible to apply for clerical as well as officers level exam.

Yes you are eligible to apply for Bank exam after completing graduation with B.Sc Mathematics. There is no any restriction in subject selection.
Eligibility criteria are as under:- Candidate must be a graduation degree holder from any of the recognized university in any discipline. Candidate must have scored at least 50 percent in graduation. Candidate age should be under 21 years to 30 years. For OBC it is upto 33 years, for SC/ST it is upto 35 years, for PWD it is 40 years. |

Eligibility criteria for Bank exams are:-
Age limit:- General candidates- 21 to 30 years OBC candidates- 21 to 33 years SC/ST candidates- 21 to 35 years Ex-serviceman and Jammu & Kashmir candidates- 21 to 35 years The minimum educational qualification of the candidates must be graduation degree from any designated university. And candidates must not hold any criminal record. So, you will be eligible for the bank exam if you will fulfill all the requirements. |

Yes, B.Sc. Mathematics graduates are eligible to apply for bank examination. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university are eligible to apply for bank examination. The age criteria required to apply for bank examination is 20 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Having completed your bachelor degree in Science with Mathematics you are eligible for appearing bank examination as the minimum educational qualification for any bank job is a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Marks and stream of academics does not matters for eligibility.
Further being a graduate candidate you are eligible to apply for the posts of bank clerk and Bank PO posts and for your recruitment at same posts you need to qualify entrance examination like IBPS bank examination or SBI bank examination. * For appearing in above mentioned examination you must hold the qualifications mentioned below ( apart from your educational qualification ); i) You must be an Indian citizen. ii) Your age must lie within 20 years to 28 years for the post of bank clerk and 21 years to 30 years for the post of bank PO. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. iii) You must hold good communication skills with basic knowledge to work on computer. Yes as per I know after completing graduation in B.Sc stream you are eligible to write bank exam and there are no any special criteria to follow in qualification. And there are no any special criteria to follow. But it is important to complete graduation as because appearing candidates are not allowed to write exam. One important point is that you must have to pass graduation with a minimum of 45-50%.

The minimum required qualification to appear in banking entrance examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Sure, any graduate from recognized university can apply for bank exam. Candidates who apply for bank exam must have strong mathematical background because responsibility given after recruitment is high and everything inside bank depends on numbers. Any minor mistakes may create huge problems results in discomfort to customer.
There are public sector banks and private sector banks. Exams required for recruitment procedure for various posts are different. Some banks have their own exams, exams notifications and exam dates may difference, for that candidate have to regularly check in bank official websites or employment newspapers. For recruitment in nationalized / public sector bank candidate have to clear IBPS ( Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) for probationary officer. There are some banks located in rural area same as nationalized banks for which candidate have to clear IBPS RRB ( Rural Regional Bank). Age limit:- For Assistant post age limit is 18 to 28 years and for officer it is 18 to 30 years. Exam is consist of two paper preliminary and mains and at second stage interview is conducted by officers of bank. |

The full form of IBPS is Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. IBPS conducts Common Written exam for clerk and Probationary officer of different public sector banks. The eligibility criteria for banking entrance exams:
1. You must be graduate or pursuing final year of bachelor's degree to apply for banking job entrance exam. Bachelor's degree is minimum academic qualification for Clerk and Probationary officer. 2. Age limit is 20-30 years. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics candidates can apply for IBPS CWE. You just need to have bachelor's degree with passing percentage of marks to apply for bank jobs. |

To apply for any Indian Bank job, the main eligibility criteria is age limit. It varies from bank to bank depending on the exam or post. For clerk exam, the age limit is 18 to 28 years and for PO and Officer's post, it is 21 to 30 years. There will be age relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates. OBC : 3 years SC/ST : 5 Years PwD : 10 years Ex- Servicemen : 5 years Widows/ Divorced women : 9 years. The minimum required academic qualification to apply for any bank exam is Bachelor's degree in any discipline from government recognized university. |
