Can a candidate with 80 percent of hearing loss or one sided deafness is eligible for UPSC exams?
Can a candidate with 80%of hearing loss or one-sided deafness is eligible for UPSC exams? What are the minimum criteria followed? Can someone please provide me with the complete information on this? Hope that I will get the answer. Thanks!

Look there are 3% seats reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates. You must have its certificate and percentage criteria of hearing loss must be mentioned on the certificate.
Minimum criteria should be same for all candidates but for Physically Handicapped candidates there are some reservation or preference given to them. Candidate must have completed their graduation from a recognized university. Candidate age should be 21 years to 30 years. For PH candidates it is 40 years maximum age limit. |
