Yes commerce students are eligible to apply for the Indian Air force. There are two entry schemes through which you can apply for the Indian Air force i.e Air force common admission Test and the Combined defence service examination.
The eligibility required for the AFCAT and the CDS examination is given below:

CDS examination
The Combined defence service examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline form the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.
Candidate applying for the Indian Air force and Navy should have physics and Maths at 10+2 level.

Age limit
Indian Military Academy 19-23 Years

Air Force Academy 19-23 Years

Naval Academy 19-22 Years

Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years

AFCAT examination
The Air force common admission test is conducted by the Indian Air force twice in year. To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. You can apply for the Flying branch and Ground duty branch only.
For the FLYING BRANCH candidate should have physics and Maths at 10+2.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible for this examination.

Age Limit
FLYING BRANCH
19-23 years

GROUND DUTY BRANCH
20-23 years

Dear friend,
Yes, my friend a commerce students can join in Air force academy in ground duty branch.

You will not be able to join into any other branch of Air force..Because to apply for those branches one must have passed the 12th in science field..
As you are from commerce field then you are only eligible for ground duty branch..
For that you have write AFCAT exam..

Through that exam you will be able to join in ground duty branch..

Eligibility for AFCAT exam:-
Ground duty branch:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.

2.Age should be in between 20-27 years.

3.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

4.Candidate must be physically fit..

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill..

Yes, commerce student can join Indian Air Force after completing graduation.
For this you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam(C.D.S.E).
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recoginised univrsity
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citize of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for Indian Air force after passing 12th with commerce stream...

If you want to join Indian Air Force then you can apply after passing the graduation..
For this you have to qualify the C.D.S exam..

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Age of the candidate should be in between 19-24 year.

This exam is conducted in three stage:-
> Written exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

i am 12th pass commercs student .my marks 55/.my subject,english,hindi,account,business.and economiecs;;; can i join the air force ,,,,,,,,,plz tell me,,,,,,,,,,,

how CDS is diffrent from AFCAT? Being a commerce student can i aproach for AFCAT in my final year?
