The minimum age limit for giving this exam is 21 years. The upper age limit gor general category candidates is 30 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST and other such candidates the upper age limit for giving this exam is 40 years. The selectors expects that only physically fit candidates are going to apply for the exam. So to prove your medical fitness you may be asked to show medical certificates to the authorities concerned. As the exam will take place in Tamilnadu therefore you need to be well versed in Tamil language. If you are not good in that language then after getting selected you will be asked to sit for a Tamil exam which again will be conducted by TNPSC which conducts the VAO Exam. This exam needs to be cleared within one year from the date of selection. Selection is based mainly on the written examination. There is a minimum marks which needs to be obtained to qualify. 200 questions will be there to solve and to qualify you have to get 90/300. Question paper will be set in both English and Tamil. For the exam questions will come from the following sections: General Knowledge and General English/General Tamil. First paper is bilingual and second paper is optional. They will be of SSLC standard and your aim should be at scoring as many marks as possible in this exam to make your chances high of getting selected. Hope this helps :-> :-> |
