Hello Friend!

YES of course, you are eligible to join IAS i.e. Indian Air Force after completing Diploma course. After Diploma you can join Indian Air Force through NDA.

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

You have to appear in NDA entrance examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year namely as NDAI & NDAII.


Eligibility criteria for NDA(Indian Air Force):

You should have completed 12th standard or Equivalent Certification(like Diploma) with Physics, chemistry & Mathematics subjects from recognized university/board.

Candidates who are appear in the final exam of above such program are also eligible to appear in this exam.

Candidates Age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no relaxation in Age for any category candidates.

Only Indian citizen are eligible to join NDA. Candidate should be Unmarried & Male. To join IAF you should be physically & mentally sound.

Important Dates for NDA Exam 2012:

For NDA-I Exam
Date of Notification: 31/12/2011

Last Date for Receipt of Application: 30/01/2012

Date of Commencement of Exam: 15/04/2012.


For NDA-II Exam
Date of Notification: 05/05/2012

Last Date for Receipt of Application: 04/06/2012

Date of Commencement of Exam: 19/08/2012



Eligible candidates may apply for NDA Exam in Online or Offline mode. Offline forms are available at head post office. Or you can fill Application Form Online by using this link(http://www.upsconline.nic.in).

yes,you have ability to join in IAF after finishing diploma

your diploma course must contain maths and physics as your basic subjects.
