Can I appear in CBSE 12th Economics Compartment exam with 12th years gap?


Dear friends, I got compartment in Economics of 12th Humanities of CBSE Board around 12 years ago. Now, I want to give the compartment exam. So, I would like to know that can I appear for the compartment exam or not?

Having appeared in CBSE Class 12th board examination 12 years ago, you cannot apply for CBSE Compartmental examination now as a candidate is allowed to appear in the compartmental examinations conducted in the year which the candidate has appeared in his/her actual board examination and the compartmental examinations conducted in the successive year.
