Hi Sir, I am studying in 11th standard with Science stream and I am 19 years old now. I want to apply for NDA exam of next year and that time I will be 20 years of age. So, can I appear the NDA exam at that age?

No, you will be not eligible to appear in NDA examination in the next year. It is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

The examination is conducted in two stages and age limit to appear in the examination is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear in the examination.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.This exam is conducted by Union Public Service
Commission twice every year.

Eligibility for the exam-

1.Nationality should be Indian.
2.Candidate should be 12th pass in PCM stream from recognised board.
3.Age limit is between 16.5 to 19.5 years.
4.Unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam.
