Default Re: Can I appear in NET on my MA basis if completed BSc in Graduation?

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and for appearing in the same examination, the minimum education required is Master's degree in concerned paper with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved category.

So, having completed your Post-graduation degree course even in Arts stream, you are eligible for appearing in NET in the subject opted as major subject in the post-graduation degree course irrespective of subjects opted at lower degree course.

For FAQs related to the NET eligibility, you can refer to the link www.ntanet.nic.in.
