Can I appear for NET/SET while being in final year of Master's degree?
I am doing M.E in Computer Science and Engineering. Now, I am in final year. Am I eligible for NET/SET? If I am eligible then what paper/subject area I need to choose for exam?

The full form of NET is National Eligibility Test and that of SET is State Eligibility Test. The eligibility criteria for both exams:
1. You must have done master's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year candidates studying in final semester of master's degree can also apply for NET exam. 2. The minimum percentage of marks required is 55% marks in master's degree. Science and Engineering candidates need to apply for CSIR NET exam. You can select subject of your choice and related to your stream. |
