Hi everyone, I am preparing for 12th Board exam with PCM stream. After completing my 12th, can I appear in TET? I am interested to appear in TET. So, I would like to know that can I appear or not?

TET refers to Teacher Eligibility Test and these are held for recruitment of teacher across various government funded schools.

Further, for appearing in the TET, a candidate is required to hold a professional teacher training course certificate such as D.Ed/B.Ed along with their regular academic degree courses.

So, being a student of class 12th you are not eligible to apply for TET just after completion of your class 12th.

But, you can apply for the same examination once you pursue D.Ed/D.El.Ed degree course after completion of your Class 12th.
