Can I apply and appear for DEO exam with PhD in Mathematics?
I am working as a Lecturer in Nongrante Jr. College. I have completed my PhD degree in the subject of Mathematics. My running age is 38 years. Am I eligible for DEO exam?

The eligibility to apply for DEO is the candidate must have completed Master's degree and age should not be more than 40 years but for reserved Categories like SC/ST/OBC/Widow there is no age limit. Also you must have minimum 12 years of teaching experience to apply for this position.

--- To be eligible for DEO (District Education Minister) post, the applicant have master's degree with B.Ed or BT degree from any recognised University.
--- Being a PhD mathematics, you are eligible but if you have done B.Ed only then. |
