I'm a girl studying in B.Arch. I'm in 3rd year of this course and since we can complete the last two years of this course anytime in once lifetime, also we get certified after completion of 3rd year. Can I apply for CDS right after completing my 3rd year?

No, you are not eligible to appear in CDS examination in 3rd year of B.Arch course.

The eligibility to appear in CDS examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university or pursuing in the final year of the course.

The age limit is 19-25 years.

Educational Qualification:

-For officers training academy, a candidate should have degree in any discipline from a recognised University.

- For Indian Naval Academy, the candidate should have degree in engineering from a recognised university or institution.

- For airforce Academy, the candidate should have a degree from a recognised university or bachelor of engineering degree course.

Candidates who are studying in the final year or semester degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply provided Candidate should not have any present blacklog up to the last semester or year for which results have been declared up to the time of submission of application and they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination at the time of commencement of course.

After completion of B.Arch, you can join in Indian Army through CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service exam.
