im pursuing b.tech 4th year now can i apply to any govt jobs
could u plz provide some details like exam dates,centres,etc.

Yes, youCan apply for many of Government Jobs being a candidate of pursuing 4th year B.Tech like:

yes, u can apply for govt. jobs and psu. after completing ur b tech.

first of all u hav get the govt job application form from the nearest paper or book vendor... fill up the forms..choose the place from where u want to appear the exam ...or the nearest center to ur place..

Being a candidate of pursuing 4th semester, it may not be possible for you to apply for Government Jobs because for Government Job or private job they will consider the percentage of marks you secured in your graduation.

In order to be eligible to apply for Government jobs, you must secure the minimum percentage as mentioned in the eligibility criteria of notification of that particular public sector company.

Sevral public sector companies have announed notifications recently like
-SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited)
-ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Company)
-BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited).

I will suggest you to complete your Graduation with good percentage of marks.

friend students of final yr engg are eligable for govt. jobs but u have not mentioned ur stream or which govt. sectors u want to apply for. still u should have min 65% marks in engg. without any active backlog to appear for psu exams. there are a lot of them like ntpc,nhpc,dvc,drdo,isro.barc,bel,sail etc.also u may apply for ies exam.the exams are mainly held b/w the months of apr-nov every year.

yes you can apply for several govt. exam but at the time of interview you have to show your final year degree and certificates .

You can apply for ample of jobs and yes being in Fourth year you can apply but Notification for maximum Government jobs comes in 2nd semester of your Final year.

Lots of Government Exam are opened for you, Like Being an Engineer you have lot of Options in Government side. Like if you are from ECE Branch then ECE Student can opt for Railways, Government jobs under PSU's like NTPC, BEL, BHEL, ONGC, etc But to appear for PSU you need to have Specific Criteria scheme like you should have 60 to 65% in Graduation.

Details about Railways :-
You can apply for different posts under Railways like Section Engineer, Junior Engineering , Assistant Station Manager and D M Suprientendent. For this you need to write RRB Exam conducted by Each state, even Karnataka railway board conducts RRB Exam.

Details about PSU's:-
There are Lot of ECE i.e Electronics cum Telecommunication Jobs for Students persuing E & TC as a stream.Students can Work in Public cum Government jobs which is under PSU's i.e Public Sector Undertaking.Government jobs are ONGC, BHEL, ISRO, BSNL, EBLetc

final year student are not eligible for govt sector . but you are eligible BARC exam.

after completion of your graduation you are eligible in below organization like.

If you are being pursuing your 4th semester then it would not be eligibile for you to appear in government jobs
But you can apply in the top private companies for a job .
Companies recruit students either throudh the campus placemnets or also by invited application for the vacancy in their firm in the employment news column

So you need to complete your 4th semester then you will be eligible to appear in government jobs when you are appearing for the finial examination of 4th semester that time you woill be eligibile .

yes you can apply for the jobs but in your 8th semester not in seventh semester.
Their are many BHEL posts for the engineering students throughout the year.
You can also try in another govt. firm like ONGC with big fame.

As you are pursuing B.Tech you won't be able to apply for the Govt. Jobs which are conducted on Graduation level.Now you are only eligible for the Jobs in which the required educational qualification is 10+2.

So it is better for you to first complete your B.Tech then you will be eligible for many govt. jobs like IES,Civil Services,SSC etc.

Yes being a 4th year graduation student you can appear in various exams conducted by different Govt. PSUs.But if you are unable to produce the course completion certificate at the time of final round of selection i.e. at Technical/HR round,then you'll be disqualified.So it's better you should apply for these exams in your 8th semester.

While pursing 4th year B.Tech. a candidate has so many job in different Govt. Sectors like in Defence, PSU, IES etc.

The candidate can apply for Defence Services while pursing in the final year of B.Tech. through CDS(Combined Defence Service), the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC to join Induian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

Yes sure you can apply for certain government jobs after completion of your graduation or even being in your final year. But since you have not mentioned which stream are you pursuing your B.Tech in, It would not be possible to give you exact details of the same.

At first if you are doing your B.Tech, then I would suggest GATE Exam for you and every other person who is doing B.Tech. This is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and should be taken by every other person to test his/her technical knowledge. With this you would be able to take chances in your M.Tech courses as well as the PSU company recruitment's.

Some of the top PSU companies are : NTPC, BHEL, BEL, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, Power Grid, etc and many more.. So you can look for government jobs in them.
Next comes the Bank Jobs. They take entries in the following posts :-

Clerical
Probationary Officers
Specialist Officers

Thus you can apply for the SBI Exams or the IBPS exams and look forward to getting government jobs in them.
Apart from these, there are other sectors like Railways, Postal, IAS, IPS, CDS, Professorship, etc and others. Thus you can take up any one after completion of your graduation in B.Tech. You have to decide that finally by yourself.
