Am I eligible for ESE exams conducted by UPSC as I got 46.7 % in B.Tech and will I get jobs in PSU's having less than 50% in B.Tech? And, what is the syllabus and exam pattern of ESE exam?

As far as you are concerned about your eligibility for appearing in UPSC ESE (Engineering Services Examination) having completed B.Tech degree course with 46.7% marks in aggregate then I would like to let you know is that you are certainly eligible as there is no minimum percentage criteria to be secured in B.Tech or equivalent degree for appearing in the ESE but with less than 50% marks in B.Tech, your options with PSUs is very limited as generally PSUs ask for around 60% marks.
