i have just activated the net on my pc so i cant get any updates about any institute or about there admission criteria.but now its too late for some institutes to allow me to fill there application form.can i now apply for mnnit,allahbad now.

In MNNIT, The admissions to the undergraduate programme (B.Tech.) in various fields are held through All India Engineering Entrance Examination (A.I.E.E.E) conducted by C.B.S.E. There is no other admission process.

The candidates who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply. Those appearing in 10+2 are also eligible to apply. Applicants are required to appear in A.I.E.E.E. A merit list is prepared on the basis of their performance in A.I.E.E.E. and seats are allotted according to their rank. Seats are reserved as per the rules.

yes you can apply for this university. Candidates having an aggregate of 60% marks in graduation are eligible to apply for admission to MNNIT.

There are total of 80 seats for graduates from Indian Universities. Seats are reserved for OBC,SC, ST and Physically handicapped as per MHRD, Government of India guidelines.

You have not mentioned whether you are talking about B Tech admissions or Mtech.
Anyways i consider that you are asking for B tech

If yes then sorry the last date is over to apply for AIEEE.

The last date to submit AIEEE 2010 forms was 5.01.2010

all the details regarding application is as follow

Application form may be downloaded from the Institute website. Duly completed forms must reach the respective department(s)/cell/centre/school of the Institute on or before 02.06.2010 along with a Demand Draft of Rs 500/- in favour of Director MNNIT, Allahabad, payable at Allahabad.



Separate application forms should be filled for courses offered by different departments along with the prescribed fee. However, separate fee is not to be paid for separate courses offered by the same department.

The admission to M.Tech. programme will be based on the Score / Percentile secured by the candidate at the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

The information of short listed candidates, for M.Tech., and Ph.D. programmes who are required to attend the Counseling will be displayed on the website on or before 12.06.2010. Selected candidates for M.Tech. will be required to deposit a non-refundable admission fee on the day of counseling as a draft of Rs. 12000/-. For Ph.D. programmes candidates after ensuing their names on Institute website on 01.07.2010 will be required to deposit a non-refundable admission fee as a draft of Rs. 8,600.00 for Ph.D. programme for stipendiary and Rs. 6,625/- for Ph.D Self Finance in favour of Director MNNIT Allahabad payable at Allahabad upto 13.07.2010.

Admission fee is not refundable in any case whatsoever. The balance fee, if any, is to be deposited at the time of registration.

No separate letter will be sent by the institute for attending the test/Counseling. Candidates are advised to visit Institute website www.mnnit.ac.in for regular update.

My Gate score 2010 is:
Stream: CSE (General)
GATE Score: 355
GATE Score out of 100: 24
AIR: 12,566
Percentile: 88.2

But it says you are not elligible for MHRD schoalrship. I have recieved my Gate Score as well. Can i apply for M.Tech in MNNIT? Will they accept my scorecard? Please reply soon..

dear friend, as you did not mention in which degree you want to apply in MNNIT.
for admission in B.Tech you have to qualify AIEEE with a good rank approx 3000-4000.
then you can take admisssion in MNNIT, allahabad.
In this year it is too late so you can try next year.

& if you want to take admission in M.Tech program offered by MNNIT,Allahabad.
then you have a valid GATE score for applying in MNNIT. & also for apply you are late to submit your form. so kindly wait for next year, or you can try for other colleges which also offers M.Tech degree.
