Can I apply for TGT in KVS after B.Sc, B.Ed and qualifying CTET exam?
Hi, I have completed B.Sc Physics followed by B.Ed and also cracked CTET Paper 2 exam last year. Can I apply for TGT Mathematics or Science in KVS? And, what is the pay scale for TGT in KVS?

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the post of TGT in Kendriya Vidyalaya.
The minimum educational qualification required for the post of TGT in KVS is given below:- Candidates must have completed bachelor degree from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks. Candidate must have completed B.Ed or its equivalent degree from a recognised University. Pay scale for the post of TGT in KVS:- Pay scale - Rs 9,300 - Rs 34,800 Grade pay - RS 4600 Basic salary before 7th pay commission – RS 17140 Basic salary after 7th pay commission –Rs 44900 House rent allowance( 24% of basic) – RS 4110 Transport allowance – Rs 1600 Total approximate gross salary( 1 + 2 + 3) - Rs 50610 Total approximate net salary – RS 45000 to Rs 47000 Yes, you can apply for TGT Mathematics or Science in KVS. |
