My question is that all these rules are applied in India also? Recently i travelled in spicejet and Air India flight, there were many hostess of short heights and also married. Can i also become an air hostess if my height is 5.5'ft. and i am fluent in English and going to pass 12th this year? I wear spectacles for long sight. Can I work with contact lenses?

Yes, you can become an Air Hostess but you should fulfill below given criteria.

Candidates are required to complete the 12th standard or graduation from a recognized board or university. Your age should be below 25 years. Your minimum height should be 156 cms. Your eye sight must be in 6/6 without glasses.
