IAS stands for the Indian Administrative Services. The entrance exam for this services is Civil Services examination.

CBI stands for Central bureau of Investigation.

The recruitment exams for Central Bureau of Investigation is called Combined Graduate Level Examination.

This exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission for post of Sub Inspector in CBI.

Criteria for SSC CGL exam:

>>Candidate must be degree holders in order to apply for the exam.

>>The latest age limit for candidates for post of SI in CBI is 20-30 years. Relaxation of three years to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates.

Examination pattern:

The questions asked in preliminary examination will be from:

>>English Comprehension.

>>Numerical Aptitude.

>>General Awareness.

>>General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability.

Main exam questions are from:

>>Arithmetic Ability

>>Statistics

>>English Comprehension Skills.

Those who clear both the stages are called for Interview.
